Lukulumo is a digital book service that offers audiovisual picture books for early childhood education and primary school. The service's books can be listened to in Finnish, as well as in several other languages, including Swedish, English, Albanian, Arabic, Somali, Russian, and Estonian.

You can access Lukulumo if you have a Lukulumo license. Licenses can be obtained by daycares, preschools, family daycare providers, and elementary schools. The service's content is determined based on whether it is used by an early childhood education unit or an elementary school.
Lukulumo's books are categorized thematically into shelves and easily browsable categories, as well as their own language shelves. You can choose to browse the book manually or enable automatic page-turning. You can continue reading from where you left off and mark interesting points with bookmarks. You can open books via QR codes. With the text tracking feature, you can follow the reader's voice in selected books.
You can download books for offline use. You can find all downloaded books in one place.
In addition, Lukulumo's early childhood education license includes a guide to literature education that provides practical tips for book discussions. The guide for early childhood education is conveniently available through the application.
